MLI-Engineered
Plastics Version

SHRIDHAN MLIs can be manufactured using engineered

plastics materials like PVDF, PP and cPVC. These materials

are chosen for their superior resistance to chemical corrosion,

making them ideal for harsh environments.

Features
  • PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is renowned for its excellent chemical resistance and high thermal stability.
PVDF MLIs are known for their robustness and longevity, ensuring reliable performance and minimal maintenance.

  • PP (Polypropylene) is a versatile, cost-effective plastic with good chemical resistance and moderate temperature
tolerance. It is widely used in applications involving less aggressive chemicals and lower temperatures. PP magnetic
level indicators are lightweight and provide a good balance between performance and affordability, making them
a popular choice in various industrial settings.

  • cPVC (chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) offers enhanced resistance to chemicals and higher temperatures compared
to standard PVC. cPVC MLIs are particularly effective in environments where exposure to corrosive substances and
    higher temperatures is a concern.

  • Floats are available in PVDF, PP, and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) options.

  • The indicator enclosure, flappers, and scales are made of stainless steel as they do not come into contact with the process liquid.

Note:

For higher temperature and pressure corrosive applications,

SHRIDHAN can offer MLI with PTFE Lining. Consult Factory.
